Timber Products
We carry a range of timber products at our Bittaford yard
including redwood decking, balustrade, featheredge and picket
fencing, railway sleepers and various tanalised sawn and planed
timbers. Deliveries, where required, are made from the
Southern Timber Trade Yard at Newton Abbot. Open 7 days a week you

Decking
products
At our Bittaford Yard we carry a range of 100mm and 125mm (4"
& 5") redwood decking. These boards are a premium product,
feature a dual profile and are available in a variety of
lengths- subject to seasonal availability. These deckboards
are enhanced with a range of matching redwood handrails,
baserails, various spindles, planed newels and turned newel
posts.

Sawn timbers
Probably our most popular fencing product is featheredge
-versatile, durable and very reasonably priced. We also carry
traditional fence and trellis panels (limited stocks until
June 2004), plus sawn materials to make picket and palisade,
post & rail, hit-and-miss and other fence types. A wide
variety of posts is also available.

Other timber
products
In addition to decking and fencing products we can offer other
sawn and planed timbers for building and garden projects. A
range of ply sheet materials and chipboard flooring can also
be supplied via Southern Timber. Flooring products include T&G
redwood and kiln-dried oak. Western red cedar shingles for
roofing houses, summerhouses and garden structures are kept in
stock. Shiplap, loglap and TGV cladding are all readily
available - cedar cladding can be machined to order. |
